LVL39.COM has been created by a small team of tech savvy alternative news and conspiracy enthusiasts. It is our aim to provide a discussion and media platform that suits a diverse audience consisting of casual onlookers, experts deep inside this exciting field and even anonymous whistle blowers. This platform will be internationally focused as we ourselves live in various parts of the world. This international aspect is important to us. It is also vital to us that this platform allows free and open discussion. One of the key motivations for building this site is that other such sites on the Internet have let us down. They stifle discussion with teams of moderators manipulating information, endless rules and regulations, constant snap banning of members with complete disregard for their previous contributions, using point systems for access and even worse, using it to punish members. NOT ON LVL39. We pledge to keep our hands off of discussions and intervene only as a last resort. All we ask for is basic decorum in participation. This includes refraining from personal attacks, slander, baiting, and trolling. For the most part, we plan to moderate according to member feedback, so if a thread, post, image or video generates a swarm of reports then we will investigate and make a team based decision, otherwise we plan to stay out of it completely. If the owner of a post feels their thread has gone off topic they can request we step in to keep it on topic. Lastly we do feel that in Internet forums, the cause of most strife centers around the exhausting political and religious ideologies at war. We do not feel this constant battle has anything to offer LVL39 other than turning focused discussion into a circus, so for that reason we move (not delete) religious and political explosions to their own areas if required.
